Passives are a skill type in Alchemic Jousts. Passives will improve the effects of other Skills or provide general bonuses during combat. Once a passive has been discovered, it's effects will be automatically applied on any Joust played.

Passives are created by mixing elementals, spells, buffs, enchants, disguises and even other passives in the laboratory.

Below is a list with every known passive and the recipes to create them.

Tier 2 passives[ | ]

Tier 3 passives[ | ]

Life I 03 04 I 01 02 + I 02 04 Permanently increases your Tower's Health by 1.
Crystal I 03 11 I 02 08 + I 01 03 Unlocks Fire's Passive effect.
Gains: "Becomes Giant, dealing 2 damage to the Enemy Tower, after beating 2 Earth or Fire Elementals".
Sky I 03 13 I 02 02 + I 01 01 Unlocks Air's Passive effect.
Reduces the Cost by 15 Air and the Cooldown by 2 seconds.
Stone I 03 14 I 02 03 + I 01 01 Unlocks Earth's Passive effect.
Gains: "Becomes Giant, dealing 2 damage to the Enemy Tower, after beating 2 Water or Earth Elementals".
Undercurrent I 03 15 I 02 09 + I 01 04 Unlocks Water's Passive effect.
Gains: "Will become Giant, dealing 2 damage to the Enemy Tower, after beating 2 Fire or Water Elementals".

Tier 4 passives[ | ]

Tree I 04 11 I 03 04 + I 01 04 Permanently increases Earth generation by 3 per second.
Fish I 04 13 I 03 04 + I 01 02 Permanently unlocks an extra Skill slot.
Wave I 04 15 I 03 14 + I 01 02 Permanently increases Water generation by 3 per second.
Anticyclone I 04 16 I 01 01 + I 03 10 Unlocks Pressure's Passive effect.
Now it also affects flying Elementals.
Sunset I 04 17 I 03 13 + I 01 03 Permanently increases Fire generation by 3 per second.
Lava River I 04 18 I 02 09 + I 02 03 Unlocks Lava's Passive effect.
Reduces the Cost by 25 Fire and the Cooldown by 5 seconds.

Tier 5 passives[ | ]

Sound I 05 10 I 04 15 + I 01 01 Permanently increases Air generation by 3 per second.
Golem I 05 13 I 02 06 + I 03 04 Unlocks Mud's Passive effect.
Reduces the Cost by 25 Earth and the Cooldown by 5 seconds.
Alchemy I 05 14 I 04 07 + I 01 03 Unlocks Potion's Passive effect.
Increases the amount of resources gained by 225.
Amphibian I 05 15 I 04 13 + I 01 04 Permanently unlocks an extra Skill slot.

Tier 6 passives[ | ]

Ice I 06 06 I 03 10 + I 03 05 Unlocks Blizzard's Passive effect.
Increases the duration of the freezing effect by 1 second.
Magnifying Glass I 06 10 I 03 11 + I 03 11 Permanently unlocks an extra Skill slot.
Electricity I 06 12 I 02 04 + I 04 08 Unlocks Energy's Passive effect.
Reduces the Cooldown time by 2 seconds and gets it's own Cooldown group.
Can now also be cast on enemy Elementals.
Bacteria I 06 14 I 03 08 + I 03 04 Unlocks Swamp's Passive effect.
Increases the amount of Elementals converted by 1.

Tier 7 passives[ | ]

Island I 07 02 I 03 06 + I 04 03 Unlocks Volcano's Passive effect.
Gains: "Each different kind of Buff you control (excluding this one) will increase the amount generated by 2."
Apple I 07 03 I 04 11 + I 03 04 Permanently increases your Tower's Health by 1.
Tsunami I 07 04 I 04 03 + I 03 02 Unlocks Earthquake's Passive effect.
Gains: "Will also cast a Shield during 3 seconds on your Earth Elementals in the selected Zone".
Fire Tornado I 07 07 I 04 05 + I 03 12 Unlocks Flames' Passive effect.
Increases the amount of transformed Elementals by 1.
Tundra I 07 08 I 06 06 + I 01 04 Unlocks Mountain's Passive effect.
Gains: "Each different kind of Buff you control (excluding this one) will increase the amount generated by 2".
Lightning Rod I 07 10 I 03 03 + I 04 08 Permanently increases your Tower's Health by 1.
Tool I 07 11 I 04 08 + I 03 10 Permanently unlocks an extra skill slot.

Tier 8 passives[ | ]

Death I 08 03 I 03 04 + I 05 07 Unlocks Explosion's Passive effect.
Gains: "Will also cast a Shield during 3 seconds on your Fire Elementals in the selected Zone".
Diamond I 08 04 I 05 09 + I 03 10 Unlocks Coal's Passive effect.
Gains: "Each different kind of Buff you control (excluding this one) will reduce those Cooldown times an extra 5%".
Fishnado I 08 05 I 04 05 + I 04 13 Unlocks Tornado's Passive effect.
Tornado's travel time limit is removed.
Thunder I 08 08 I 05 10 + I 03 03 Unlocks Lightning's Passive effect.
It will now kill Elementals instead of damaging them.
Cactus I 08 12 I 04 11 + I 04 04 Unlocks Desert's Passive effect.
Gains: "Friendly Earth, Mud and Sandstorm Elementals leaving the Zone will become Giant, dealing 2 damage to the Enemy Tower".
Cave I 08 13 I 03 15 + I 05 07 Unlocks Volcanic Ground's Passive effect.
Gains: "Friendly Fire, Lava and Smoke Elementals leaving the Zone will become Giant, dealing 2 damage to the Enemy Tower".
